Thomas Valerio, 69, of Goshen, entered into rest on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY.
Tom was born September 1, 1946 in Grummo Appula, Italy, the son of Francesco "Frank" Valerio and Angela (Campanelli) Valerio.
Tom served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam; retired from Wells Fargo in New York as an IT Manager; was a member of the VFW Post 1708 Goshen, NY and a member of St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Kathy Valerio at home; daughter, Lisa Chandler and husband Scott of Lynn, MA; sons, Frank Valerio and fiancé, Kayla DeGroat of Goshen and Anthony Valerio of Nashua, NH; brother, Vito Valerio and wife Rosalie of Campbell Hall, NY; sisters, Margaret Staiano and husband Manny of Whitestone, NY and Rosa Valerio of Elmont, NY.
Visitation will be Friday, September 4 from 3:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:00 am on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at St. John The Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave, Goshen, NY.
Burial will follow in Orange County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Goshen, NY.
