Condolences to the Moore family. While I did not know Tom personally, nor work with him directly, I do remember Tom as always gentleman. Everyone who knew Tom, also knew, he was a kind and sincere person. I now know, Tom was also a wonderful family man. Anyone who has ever been assigned to the the 48 Precinct, is aware of the amazing rapport among it's members. Most of us had not seen nor heard from Tom since his retirement. A few years ago, I was surprised and very happy to receive an email from Tom, requesting I add him to my emailing list. Tom quickly began attending the 48 Precinct Fishing Trips, and Annual Picnics, and it was as of he had been there all along. It was a pleasure to see him once again, among his old friends. I'm sure Tom has now been welcomed by the many friends in the Big 48 House in Heaven. No doubt, he is now looking down from Heaven, after his family and 48 friends. May he Rest in Eternal Peace!

It's just a post on a webpage and not nearly enough to express the sadness I feel for all of you in losing such an amazing person. I was fortunate to spend a lot of time with Mr. Moore growing up. His laughter would fill the room. He was warm, caring and generous and raised an amazing army of mini - Moore's. I see his beautiful smile in all of you. I hope you can all find comfort in knowing his voice and song will live on. Love from too far away to Nancy, Mike, Patty, Colleen & Tim and their beautiful families during this difficult time.
