Julie A. Tranes Goshen, New York Julie A. Tranes, a longtime Goshen resident, died Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Orange Regional Medical Center, of complications from metastasized (Stage IV) breast cancer. She fought a long and courageous battle and died peacefully. Born in England, Julie spent her entire adult life in the Goshen area raising six children who are a monument to her caring, love and character. She was also everything to her husband: his wife, friend and mother of his children. She was a sweet and kind person to all she met. She is survived by her children Rose, Grace and John at home, her daughter Amy and husband Robert and son Liam of Brooklyn, daughter Beth and companion Joe of Goshen, son Henry and wife Laura of Manhattan, and husband Arnold, who will forever wear his ring for her. In her native England she is survived by her brother John Craven and wife Kerry, sister Glenys, her mother Betty Craven, and predeceased by her father John Craven. Many thanks to Crystal Run Oncology for their devoted care. Julie loved being with and caring for her family. She deserved more but will always live on in all of us. Her final wish was for cremation and to plant a tree here and in England. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 23, 2015 from 4 to 7 PM at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. There will be no service and burial will be private with the family. Arrangments under the care of the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., Goshen.
