Dear family of Jean Strong,
Jean was a wonderful and valuable human being who gave warmth and strength to her community. I have fond memories over the many years we worked together in GARA, and following planning and environmental issues in Goshen. My particular favorite was a night several years ago when I first moved to Goshen...we were tracking the trucks delivering in the middle of the night and dumping at the Turi Landfill. Yes, Jean and I monitoring those big, bad boys and then fighting with the DEC to investigate. Ultimately it worked, but that was after the DEC reps were arrested!
Jean was a beautiful.woman and a fine citizen.
