Obituary of Mary L. Blaikner

Mary L. Blaikner, 92, of Otisville, died Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY. Mary was born May 9, 1923 in Huntington, NY, the daughter of William T. Jones and Florence (Dickerson) Jones. She was the widow of Raymond Blaikner. She retired as a teacher's aid from the Goshen Area Day Care Center, Goshen, NY. She is survived by her son, Raymond "Tom" Blaikner and wife Ellen of Pine Island, NY; daughter, Virginia "Ginger" Mapes of Otisville, NY; 5 grandchildren, Terri Blaikner, Tommy Blaikner and wife Robin, Rhonda Maddalone and husband Pete, Ryan Blaikner and wife Keely, Linda DeSieno and husband Mike; 5 great grandchildren, Ronnie and Alexa Maddalone, Cole and Jack Blaikner and Dylan DeSieno. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond, her son-in-law, Ronald Mapes, 5 brothers and 3 sisters. Grammy always put family first. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren very much. Visitation will be Saturday, January 16 from 2-4 PM at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY, with the funeral service at 4:00 pm.
