Stephen S. Dembeck, 78, of, Goshen, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 18, 2009. He was predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Anna (Nowicki) Dembeck. He is survived by four daughters, Bonny and husband, Dave Martignoni of Napa, California, Diane and husband, Skip Howell of Florida, NY, Susan Shandra of Stuart, Florida and Roxanne and husband, Rick Strom of Endicott, NY; 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; two sisters, Caroline and husband, Joe Bradatsch, Titusville, Florida and Pauline Shanley, Cocoa Beach, Florida; numerous nieces and nephews and close friends, Helen Mills of Goshen, NY. He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors teaching his daughters iceskating, snowmobiling, sledding and fishing. Stephen retired as a NYS therapy-aid and enjoyed polka dancing, Hank Williams Sr. and Joie Chittwood racing. We would like to thank the staff at Elant of Goshen for the care he received. Memorial Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Expressions of sympathy can be made to the Diabetes Association or a charity of your choice.
