My deepest condolences to the Horner family. I am truly saddened by their loss.
Mrs.Horner was one of my elementary teachers at North Main Street from 1975-1977 along with Mrs. Noonen and Mrs. Davis.
Mrs. Horner was gentle, kind, generous. and loving. I remember her teaching me the value and importance of reading and spelling. I learned compound words, the most important one being Thanksgiving. This word embodies who she was.
She inspired, she welcomed, and she loved what she did. Here I am 42 years later with a heavy heart and tears in my eyes missing my teacher.
Thank you for giving me the tools to succeed in my life and your kindness to share your knowledge and love. I will miss you....

Dear Ann's Family, Sorry to hear about Ann I would of come to the wake if I had known about it in time. I grew up with Ann in Piermont and also graduated from Oswego a year after her. I understand that Joe teaches at Minisink H.S. All my kids and grandchildren went to Minisink. I found out about Ann's passing from Lisa Delia, who is the Superintendent's secretary. Sorry again. I was so sorry to learn of Ann's passing. I will remember her spunk for agreeing to go camping with me on the Baja to watch whales and live in a sandy tent for a week. My sympathies to her family as they adjust during these difficult times.

To the family of Ann Horner, I send sincere sympathy and prayers for your loss. I met your (our) delightful Ann thru my cousin Paul Fowler only 2.5 years ago. I instantly adored this lovely woman who put me right at ease in a social situation with a large number of people who were related to me but I had never met. She was lively, happy and adored by everyone where we were. To her beloved family, I say, I know you have lost a treasure. God bless you and I hope your memories bring you comfort, you must have some wonderful stories to tell! I wish I could attend her services, but know that I am there in spirit. ❤️
