Ms.Nuzzolese, Alice and the rest of the Nuzzolse Family words can not express how I feel right now on the loss of Mike. I heard he was sick and wanted to visit him while back in NY last year which didn't happen due to Covid. Even though we had lost touch with each other I always felt a closeness to Mike over the years we were close when we were in school, how could we ever forget the pushup contest we would have with our fathers challenging us on the kitchen floors on Golden Hill Ave and South St. so many years ago!! I guess you'll have to beat them both till I get there. My sincere condolences to the whole family and Mike may you RIP. They say the true mark of a man is measured by the way he affected his peers well we're gonna need someone with some really big shoes to match Mike!! Take care my friend.

Oh, what a special man, he was. Thanks Mike for just showing up out of the blue one night to help us when we needed it most. It was your birthday that night (without you even mentioning it). That is who you were though, a kind and special human being. Hugs to you, Alice.

It is with great sadness to hear of Mike's passing. While it is famously coined that "only the good die young", Mike is beyond good. Mike is GREAT!!! Mike is a phenomenal human being who always shines at whatever he participates in. From running the department of public works (TO PERFECTION), to participating in numerous community organizations/events (too long to list), Mike always wants EXCELLENCE. I use the present tense because Mike will remain with all of us in his spirit forever and always.
The residents of the Village of Goshen have lost a "ONE OF A KIND GEM". Mike will have his reputation and his accomplishments live on with not only his family, but for every person who he touched in his life. His rise to become the BEST MAYOR Goshen has EVER seen was not by accident. Mike has earned that distinction by his wonderful possession of morals and ethics that he maintained throughout his entire life. Mike is mentoring people right now as I type this note by the precision and superiority that he exhibited. His ginormous influence will NEVER cease to exist!
We will miss you more than words can describe.
Joseph Suresky and the Entire Suresky family including our Snow Plow Team

I’m so very very sorry Alice - Mike was such a kind and generous gentleman. He was exceptionally helpful to my family during a very difficult time and I will be forever grateful to Mike for hiring Luke for Luke’s first real job! Mike had endless patience with Luke that summer and Luke provided him quite the challenge. I will be praying for you and the kids Alice
