I always considered Michael as one of my closest friends. We had so much fun together, along with Chris Camillo, John Pollets and Chuck Mokotoff. Michael was always very kind and a great friend. I loved Michael and will miss him.

I was so saddened to hear about my good friends passing. Mikey was so special. Brilliant and incredibly talented. But more than that, he had a heart of gold. He used to come down to help me record music. Always pulling the best out of me. And when I was feeling down one day, he looked at me and said" You are Beautiful". He had a softness and awareness that you rarely see. He also was very passionate about life. I don't think I ever heard Mikey complain. I have many great memories of all of us guitar geeks getting together, having a few beers and lots of laughs and listening to Mikey tear it up on some killer guitar. And he always spoke so highly of Ruthi and the boys. A real gentleman. Till we meet again Brother. Miss you already.

So sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I will always remember being in awe of his playing back when we were teenagers. May you rest in peace my old friend. You, Roger and The Senator, an incredible trio, taken from us way too soon. My prayers are with your family during this painful tim.RIP Mike!

Joined at the hip to Mike from 2nd to 7th grade, his contagious laugh was 2nd to none. Living down the street, the Ciliberto house was like a home away from home for me. He quickly rose from being bandmates with we locals to jamming with Johnny Winter in California. We will never forget you Michael

Mike was one of my oldest friends and contrary to Keith's assertion, Brent and I were in his first band. He then played a Fender Mustang and played it better than anyone in Middletown. Later we would play at the Redwood tennis club with Keith, Chuck, Tad, Brent and Lou. Those were some good times. I remember that when I could not figure out a drum part, Mike was the kind of musician that would show me how to play the drums and would do it better than me. In fact way better than me. I regret having lost touch over the years and will always remember the times we had growing up, and that I had a chance in my youth to play with one of the great ones. We will miss you Mike...Rock on. John P
