I will remember Aunt Rose for her kindness and visits to Middlefield for many Thanksgivings and Easters. When I was young, I especially remember her gift of a pink fur coat. How glamorous I felt! Thanks for making me feel special Aunt Rose. You will be missed.

I have fond memories of Aunt Rose from my childhood days. Rose and her first husband Fred would come to all the family events and they were always kind to us. She would bring Nibbs, her toy poddle to the gatherings. I also remenber how happy she was to marry Bernie. I particularly recall her wedding since she wore a bright colored flowing dress which was memorable and marked the start of her second life with Bernie. I offer my condolences to Bernie and I will keep Rose's memory in my heart.

Rose Sobotor was and will always remain a memorable person in my life. She was my aunt, and later in adult life, a very dear friend. Our long conversations were a blessing to me. I learned many life skills from Aunt Rose -- some from direct teachings to me during a year living with her in my early childhood, and many from her example. She will be remembered always with much love.
