It is with great sorrow that I heard. We grew up in the Liberty and Renwick St neighborhoods. I have fond memories of "Ronnie". I had wished that I had kept in touch. It is through him that I met my wife Nancy. Again, I am sorry to hear of his passing.

Dear family of friends of Mr.Napello....our family just read the very sad news of this great loss. His way of teaching really touched my daughter and she learned soo much! At back to school night i was shocked at just how fun and informative he was...he explained in detail his years plan for the kids and held my attention for every moment of it...he made class exciting and the kids came away with real knowledge that they didnt even realize they had learned because he made it so interesting...our thoughts and prayers are with you now...and hope you realize how deeply he touched the lives of his students..how much he will be missed and forever be remembered as a great guy...a kind gentleman who really did make a difference everyday he showed up for SCHOOL...we wish there were more like this man who taught so much to so many...thank you for sharing a piece of him with us,.....

It was my priviledge to teach with Ron for nine years. The students loved being in his class and his teaching team enjoyed working with him. Ron's Lewis and Clark presentation stands out as one of his favorites. We liked hearing the many stories of his travels by train. He will be greatly missed.

Easy going...Caring...Fun Loving...
I worked with Ron for 14 years at LHMS. I was his replacement during testing the day the bat relocated his class to the library. He just smiled and shrugged his shoulders over the bat issue. His students were fine he kept moving class right along. Smiling. Unflappabled.Typical Ron response.
One response that I will always cherish is due to a train. (of course!) One made of donated cardboard. One that I am so glad Debbie Veiga thought to do. I drew an engine with Ron conducting on the first notecard and enough train cars for his entire fifth grade team to draw and write their good wishes for Mr. Napello. Mrs. Veiga carefully hung the entire train in the hallway. Ron was so touched.
His thank you told me how he and his wife planned to get an album with pages designed so he could read both sides of every card.
I am very grateful to have worked beside such a caring teacher and
special man.

Mr.Napello was my fith grade teacher in 2010. He was the nicest teahcer and will always have an impact on my life. Today in math my teacher and the class were talking about the memories of Mr.Napello. I remember during NJ Ask testing there was a bat in out classroom and we had to test in the library.
Mr.Napello will always be my favorite teacher. We were his last class that year and i am so thankful he was my teacher. On the first day i walked into his classroom and thought, "this is going to be a long year!"
It is unfortunate that Mr.Napello had to pass and condolences to hid friends and famly and i guess students like me. We will always love and miss you!

I worked with Ron for many years at Glen Meadow and LHMS.
His students enjoyed his class and his creative ways of teaching. If we needed a home tutor we could always count on Ron to be ready and willing. A funny story: I remember when Ron and Curt Amos would play Mr. Rogers, Ron would keep such a straight face- and have us rolling in laughter.... You will be missed Ron!

Ron was a good friend and colleague of mine. There was never a dull day when Ron was around. He was best known for his great sense of humor and "creative" practical jokes! Children just loved him! I know that he will keep everyone "hopping" in heaven, in a better place... Thank you, Ron, for always making our days fun!

Letter From Heaven
To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say.
But first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from Heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; Here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I am with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through.
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you.
It's good to have you back again, you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, They'll be here later on.
I need you here badly, you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you . . . in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years.
Because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was the rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
If I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o're.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
But together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too;
That as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain;
Then you can say to God at night . . . "My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented . . . that my life was worthwhile.
Knowing as I passed along the way I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low;
Just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go . . . from that body to be free.
Remember you're not going . . . you're coming here to me.
