I graduated with Victor from Red Hook Central High School. We were friends from the time we were young boys until we graduated. The last time we talked was via Facebook in 2010. I still remember the times we went to the Dutchess County Fair together. Just two young kids having a great time. You will be missed my "Old Friend". My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Victor was one of the most important male influences in my life. I loved him very much. I met him as my 8th grade science teacher and kept him close to me for all these years. I am heartbroken over his passing but take comfort in the fact that I will see him again one day. I'm so sorry, Pattie. I love you too.

I had Mr. Quinn the 79-80 school year. I once made a comment that I didn't care for Bob Dylan. Mr. Quinn was aghast and for months would tell me something new about Bob Dylan everyday. Eventually I did learn to appreciate his music and whenever I hear him I think of Mr. Quinn. Rest in peace sir.

I met Vic first day of freshman year at SUNY, New Paltz, September 1968, and a friendship was started that lasted all these years. Though we saw one another seldom, whenever I came to NY from AZ, I did my best to visit and was always welcomed. We had different ideas on many subjects, but Vic, I know you are still with your family...and that you have visited me these past few days---every time I hear CCR (Proud Mary, etc.) I know you are with me. May the loving and fun memories you have, Paul, Joseph, Anthony, Patti and Joann.... help ease the grief and loss you now feel. Vic--you are remembered always with love and laughter. Rest in peace, my friend.
