I have fond memories of Mrs. Lipsey. When I was a student at Burke High School, she always took the time to talk with me when I stopped in to her office to chat. She also welcomed me and many more of Ellen's friends in to her home on many occasions. Simply put, she was a nice lady. Sincere condolences to Ellen, Debbie and their families. I was shocked to pick up the paper today and see Ada's obit. She called me earlier this motnh and gave no indication of such an impending event. Ada and I started kindergarten together, and from 4th grade she lived just up the street from me. We normally walked to school together on a daily basis. Naturally we have been close over the years. Like many others, I will miss her cheery voice and happy attitude. I wish her family well.
