Ada E. Lipsey, age 74, of Rock Hill, NY, died Monday, January 29, 2007 at home. Mrs. Lipsey was born March 26, 1932 in Goshen, NY the daughter of the late Neils and Clara (Smith) Andersen. Ada is the widow of Walter C. Lipsey She was employed as a secretary in the Guidance Dept. of John S. Burke Catholic H.S. Goshen, NY. She was a member of the Wanaksink Lake Club. She is survived by two daughters, Ellen Saxton and her husband Daniel of Middletown, NY; Debra Lloyd and her husband Michael of New Hampton, NY five grandchildren, Tracy, Daniel, Andrea, Benjamin, and Jenna; several nieces and nephews; very close friends, Pearl Dumont and Chickie and Ed Green. Predeceased by her brother, Walter Herbert Andersen Calling hours will be at the Donovan Funeral Home, 82 South Church St., Goshen, Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M.. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Feb. 01, 2007 at 10:00 AM at St. Edward's R.C. Church, Florida, NY. Internment will follow in Orange County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Goshen. In lieu of flowers a donation in Adas name can be made to the Rock Hill Vol. Ambulance Corp. Arrangements under the direction of the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc.
